Love to go to another one. Had a great time last year meeting the other hangers. Looking forward to seeing them again and meeting new attendees also.

How does The TanBark Trail sound this is near hickory creek in the Hearts Content area of the ANF Scott said this is near the camp and from a video another member did there is a area in the hemlocks that sounds great. Will post more info when I get it. Are there any other members with hands on experience of this trail please chime in

That's a nice area! The Tanbark trail has a parking area that holds a dozen or so cars. There is a spring there at the parking lot. I believe that parking area is near MyTeathors camp. There are only a few roads up that way all of which are usually plowed in winter. Sounds good to me!
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

I'm interested in making this trip.

I'm new to PA and also fairly new to cold weather hanging. I have a DIY UQ and have hung in the low 30s (maybe upper 20s).

What do you guys expect the temps to be?
