    whoopies for clark????

Just got myself some WHOOPIES and wanted to know how you guys, who have these also, setup your hammock and if you have the rain fly all together like they have the stock setup. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I ave changed all my Clarks to the All In One Whoopie systems from Whoopie Slings. I do keep my tarps attached to the hammock net on the Clarks that are designed to be that way though I use a continuous ridge line and connect the tarp to the RL with prussics.

Clear skies and47F forecast for tonight and the next couple. So, I'm pleased to just use the bug netting to protect my sleep from whatever those fruits are on still-leaf-bearing Bradford pear tree. So, I don't have the fly attached or hanging.

Its the same pair of trees I set up under every night, so I leave a pair of 1g plastic shower rings in place on a branch I'll hang beneath. The bug netting gets clipped to them with the Clark-supplied no-metal bungies.

Though I've admired the stock Clark suspension solution, I like the much lower bulk of Amsteel. So its whoopies between straps and long continuous Amsteel loops I've spliced into the end channels with stitched buries. I triple them up to spread load in the channel for everyday use. But I can release them in the field if I need an extra three feet of length between trees.

Bradley, you are such a traditionalist!

I went from stock ropes to whoopies to straps & buckles, but may go back to whoopies now that I have aset of DutchBuckles. I am such a flip-flopper.

Whoopies and Dutch clips here. Easier to adjust and less bulk.

Just installed whoopies on my NX-250. Adjusting the hammock was EASY! Plan to load test them tonight!
