Enjoy and welcome! There is a huge amount of knowledge contained w/i this place and people are very helpful. There is a bit of a learning curve especially if you are by yourself. My most important pieceof gear and it doesn't take up much room in my pack- is my sense of humor.

    Clark NX250 arrived today

Soooo sweet! Can't wait for the first hang in a couple of weeks. I've read alot of people use these whoopie slings. Is it something I should replace on this hammock? I've never set up a hammock before, feel kinda awkward replacing something that i just bought new and have never used. Any advice would be fantastic. Also, can these whoopie slings be made from home material? Should I buy these whoopie slings from a manufacturer? Thanks guys!

    Congrats, Armando.

Last night I received a new-to-me (2009 model) Clark Ultra Light. Set it up quickly this morning to have a look-see.

I have just posted my comments and questions in the Clark Jungle Hammocks sub-forum. Have you checked that out? You will find a lot of postings there.

That said, I'm interested in seeing the responses to using the whoopie slings.
