When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, you’re home.
PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.
Was surfing around and found this other 7.4 oz. hammock for just $9.89. Picked one up and it's not too bad, great for light day use impromptu hangs, and no weight penalty.
I don't have that model but have used quite a bit of Grand Trunk equipment. I personally like their stuff and their customer service in my experience has been great.
A lot of mainstream hammock manufacturers (Trek Light, Grand Trunk, Planet Hammock, etc.) sell their hammocks with mini-S hooks at a rope stub. I actually use the S-hooks when I hang indoors, but take them off if I bring them backpacking.
I love my GT Ultralight. It's a great "workhorse" hammock -- no frills, no fluff, just enough. The body is the same size as the Hennessy Hammock Explorer.
