    WTB Yeti

Looking to buy a Yeti in time to try out my new WBBB in New England before it's too cold, but I keep missing the FS posts! Alternatively, if anyone around Boston or southern NH is willing to loan me one for a weekend or two...

Having personally used a Winter Yeti below 0ºF, I can say that you've got some time yet.

    Yeti

Are you looking for the 3/4 or winter yeti. I have the 3/4 that I'm thinking of selling in order to finance a full for the cold winters here up north.

To be specific, both Yeti models are 2/3 quilts. The 'winter' model simply has thicker baffles to hold more down and thus more loft. Both require the use of some leg insulation (like a pad) in colder temps.

    Thanks

Thanks for the clarification. I have the 3 season yeti that I may look to sell or trade + $ for a full length UQ.

I just scored a Winter Yeti over on BPL. I can't wait until it arrives. A true winter ug was the only thing I was missing in my gear.

    Re:

Wow... So many responses already! To clarify, I'm looking for a 3 season Yeti that I can get some use out of before the truly cold weather hits. I'm just getting started with hammocks, and it seems better to start in manageable temps than in winter cold.

CFI - it sounds like yours is exactly what I'm looking for. I don't have an UQ to trade, but I'm interested in buying it outright if you choose to sell. Let me know what you're thinking.

    Thanks everyone!

    Yeti

Id sell it to you for what I paid. $170 plus $5 shipping but I have to find someone that's willing to sell me a full size UQ first. No tears, stains, smells. I bought it off a guy here who used it a couple times and I only used it once in the backyard, but it's too cold here most of the time I'm out camping. If that's agreeable I'll let you know, hopefully today or tomorrow if I'm able to get a full UQ.
