Word is, these are getting close. Most recent pestering was a week ago tomorrow and I was given a pleasing answer. Shouldn't be long now.

Trust nobody!
The GrizzBridge is a collector's item for very select collectors
I've kept my mouth shut for over half a year. I've seen and laid in Brandon's prototypes when I was passing through Fort Collins last summer. His take on the bridge adds some new elements never before seen in any bridge---no surprise! It will be a crowd pleaser.
'nuff said.

Wow, you guys have made this such a build up. He'd better have a bunch in stock for a kick off. Everyone will be standing in line.
Griz, is it that much different from the lay in a JrB one? What's the difference between the bridge & say a BlackBird?
Bridge hammocks differ primarily in how wide they are, and how flat the fabric is under the spreader bar. There's a trade-off. Shallower and deeper means more presence of the hammock felt at the shoulders and less of a view outside of the hammock, but also more stability, i.e., less inclination to tip.
Among extant bridge hammocks the BMBH is comparatively narrow, deep, and stable, the Chrysalis is wide, flat, with an inclination to rotate, and ones I've made are somewhere in the middle. Brandon's is not like the BMBH. For details, see his promotional literature
The BlackBird, being a gathered end hammock, has a ridge of tension down the middle that carries your weight to the ends. You lay across that, usually need to find that "sweet spot" where it is least noticable. With practice this comes instinctively. No such ridge on a bridge, you lay in a trough down the middle of the hammock, between the suspension on the sides. The flip side is that you tend to have less freedom of movement in a bridge. What's the difference between the bridge & say a BlackBird?

I'm sold on bridge hammocks. Only thing I can see making me want to switch from my jrb is a lower weight? Anybody know what these new ones are expected to weigh?
I hope It fits big/tall 6'5" 245.
