Will I be warm enough ?

I am going on the AT for the next 5 days set up
Hiawasee weather says 40 at night so I am figuring it will be 30 degrees

    ENO single Nest
    Eno fly tarp
    Eno slap straps
    Wally world blue pad
I have a 20 degree ledge mummy sleeping bag,
I have some 40x72 inch thinsulate padding I figure I could put inside the bag to help keep me warm
I also plan on wearing some layers and a jacket

I slept on my porch at 30 there was frost on my car windows with my bag and an extra quilt on top but dont plan on taking my quilt

Depending on how big/tall you are the ENO Single might be too small. A pad will work in a sinlge layer hammock but tends to shift more.

Forget the slap straps. They streach and you will find yourself on the ground. Get some ployester straps not nylon.

Are you using the wallyworld 20" wide or waffle pattern 24" wide blue pad ?

Testing your gear before heading out is a good idea.

    Have fun

You'll be fine as long as you can stay on the pads and it doesn't go below 30. I think.

I have slept on my porch in the hammock many nights I have not had any problems with the pad moving, Though use of my tarp and slap straps will be new, I will just have to live with the problem they might stretch, I don't intend on replacing them until they prove to be totally worthless Hopefully I will be Ok with them, I only weigh 150

You are 1" shorter than my wife. That 20" wide pad will be fine.

When we camp out and she is in her BB, she sometimes manages to turn completly around in her BB during the night.
