I've been looking for two myself...tell ya what...If you want to we can go in together and purchase them and split the shipping. It's up to you. I did not see any RSN at Wal Mart yesterday. I'll look again this week sometime.

That's the basic idea, but I don't know how cost effective it would be to do a group buy on a small quantity of the buckles and then have to re-ship them out to each person.
If it were me, I would contact OnRope (or other source) and check on a quantity discount and do a group buy in bulk. I would be in for a few, maybe 4-6.

I kept a few on hand for a while and sold them to people on the forum when they asked about them, and that's what I ran into. The buckles are so cheap to begin with ($2) that it wasn't worth paying shipping two times.
I know that buying 5 buckles might seem like a waste, but they don't sit idle for long. Once you make/mod a hammock, it won't be long until you do another. $10 worth of buckles isn't very much when you consider the cost of other materials.
If one of the existing hammock vendors were to buy in bulk and resell them, though....

I bought 2 heavy duty ones. There's no minimum on those. I bought some 'biners too, since I needed 2 more anyway, to justify the shipping.
