Ill be out January 2-7 testing out gear as well out on some private wooded land on the wolf river in Pickeral WI, about 10 miles from Kettle moraine. I'll have to get some poles for my sled as well. Any suggestions on what might work well...PVC?

Are tents welcome? I'm going to get a hammock but don't plan to have all the winter gear for a winter hang until next year. I would still like to be a part of the trip if possible.

I'm betting I speak for us all when I say that I for one would never turn someone away who was willing to winter camp! Tent, hammock, or...well, I guess I'd be mighty disappointed if you showed up in an RV. LOL

It would have to be an ATVRV to get where we'll be going. Tents are definitely welcome! I'd even pack along a wood stove in the car if I had one. The most important thing for this group hang like any other is to have a good time. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Great. I'll have to take a look at work to see if my schedule allows me to take a few days off. Thanks for giving me an exception!! Haha....

The yellow star is the small parking lot. Room for about 12 cars. The red star is the location of the camp sites. The trails are definitely not as straight as the white line on the map but you get the idea.
