    Welcome from another noob. I love hangin'! I love this forum. I have always hung my food a safe distance away from my tent (now hammock). Never had trouble with bears here in AR, never in CO and never in MO. Knock on wood. Crows, raccoons, skunks and chipmunks have driven me crazy though, so always a good idea to clean up good and keep the snacks away from your sleeping area.

    Yeah, I think I'm going to start out with a bag, now it's just deciding which one. The Ursack looks good but might have to save a little for that one.

    I'll keep you posted on how it goes with my pup, hammock training yesterday went pretty well. A little flailing but isn't that how we all start with hammocks?

    Will do. Although, there is usually nothing left when Graham helps to clean up
