This is a Delorme Earthmate PN60w GPS w/Spot. The spot device is the updated one, the recalled one was sent back to delorme so you dont need to worry about that. It has been used on one three day trip. It is simply too difficult for me to use and i got in over my head. This was my first GPS purchase and its over my head. Most of my hiking is done on the AT anyway, how could I get lost on the AT? I could use the money to purchase some pieces of gear i don't have anyway and need, like shoes that fit and shell mitts.
