    I don't remember where but I remember reading the European down is rated higher. Like 800 is actually 700 US.

    thats not a bad weight for reused down
    It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold

    I am happy with the weight (although I wouldn't complain if it were lighter ). I used ~9 oz of down and it puffs up nicely. What really upped the weight is the 2" grosgrain used for the channels, 6 cordlocks and too much shockcord (which will get trimmed down once I am comfortable with the length I need) so I am hoping I can cut another .5 to 1 oz.
