Talking Hi from south of france

just getting into the bushcrafting thing with my son, and had a couple of damp achey mornings and thought a hammocks got to be better. I've had a tiny net hammock for years but it was so uncomfortable that it never got used. I started looking for a decent one that wasnt too expensive and finally decided on one from Tenth Wonder in the UK. It arrived last week and I am pleasantly surprised by the high quality of manufacturing and materials used.It has a sewn in mosquito net which is needed around here.
I have slept in it in our house for the last week (its a long story) slung in the scaffolding in our lounge (another long story). My usual backache has completely gone, and I am getting a full nights sleep for a change. Its a miracle. I will be back in my bed in a night or two to see how my back is, but I cant wait until its warm and i can wander off into the mountains behind our house with a hammock and a stove and see were i end up. All I know is I am definately converted. Any one want to buy a tent?

    Salut et bienvenue drphoto!

I've walked through half of France in 2008 on le chemin de St. Jacques and am missing France alot. Had I known about hammocks for trekking purposes I probably would have already got hooked an hammocks back then.

About your tent: Sorry, no need here -- you're absolutely on the wrong forum for that *g*
