    I like all/any of these ideas. i haven't been involved in a group hang and would defenitly appreciate insight into my setup as im still somewhat of a newb thou i fake it pretty well i think

    What dates or month are we possibly talking about here?

    Sounds like a great way for folks to dip their toes in the cold waters of fall/winter hammocking

    We'll have to hit a one nighter if it is any weekend in November. Other than that Moe-z and I can probably do a full weekend if the plan is sometime in December.

    I stayed at site 10 a few weeks ago. Plenty of room to hang and only a very easy mile to get back there. I'd be up for going back again.

    If you're still mobile enough, you could swing by to hang out for the day, talk gear, sit by a fire... just a thought.

    another plus: clear creak is a trout stream, they say, so good for a day of tenkara as well.

    i'm watching this thread with interest. not a backpacker but i think i can handle a mile or two of easy walking in.
