    Certified Strap Rentals

If parks that currently do not allow anything to be suspended or attached to trees were presented with strong evidence of webbing being safe for trees AND a point of financial gain while 'controlling' who and how something is attached too a tree how would you design or propose a tree strap to be rented at a park for hammock or otherwise use? What would be the cost?

I'm not sure I like the idea of using gear that others have used especially to support my weight. I don't know that I'd trust someone else, especially a non hanger to monitor the integrity of the straps. There might be a liability issue due to the possible injuries that may occur which would outweigh any potential profit a park may try to generate. Its not the same as renting out a tent where at worst it leaks.
