UltraStash - yet another streamline gear stash

These things are fun to make. So many options.
I went all out on this one. 12" wide by 8" tall with mitten hook attachment utilizing braided mason in a tauntline hitch configuration to keep the stash . . well taunt Two pockets, one of which is 4.75" wide by 5" tall and the other being 7.25" wide by 5" tall.
Also included on the left a shockcord accessory loop and on the right a small grosgrain accessory loop.
What I love the most I think about this one is the large cubby that is 12" wide by 8" tall at its tallest. I say at its tallest because the more gear you stuff the wider and shorter it gets. This cavern holds my hammock in stuff sack, gloves, mittens and a shirt no problem. By far this is my favorite so far.
    Hope you enjoy the photos.

I like it! The third photo really sells the idea -- I like the center "pouch" idea. Looks like great craftsmanship too. Well-done.

Thank you, I should have ironed it before photos, always looks more polished that way.
I am really happy with the options this one gives.

Every time I make one with new ideas I get even more new ideas. I think my next endeavor will be making one that hangs on the inside on the hammock from an end. I am thinking a wizard hat but have the opening closed with shockcord so you and push gear in and pull it out.

Also thinking of making on made for hanging clothes from so I can dry socks at night. Meh, I hate/love this diy bug I have caught.

Next though is a new hammock or finishing an old hex tarp I started.

Nice work. Made a similar one recently out of tulle but it didn't come out nearly as nice.

Awesome! Add draw cords at each end and it'd double as a stuff sack....

See John you have gone and done it. I finally and happy with a gear stash I have made and now you go and make me want to change it again. lol
I could use it to store my hammock pre-gear stash mode

Excellent idea! Let me know if you decide to make and sell some of those. I for one would like one!

very nice. I especially like use of the tautlines, because I know from experience what happens without them (and have used a grosgrain channel to counter it, your way is lighter), and then the center compartment made possible by not having a channel on the top.

My next ridgeline organizer will be a shameless copy of this, perhaps with JohnSawyer's suggested drawstring mod
