Marwood that's an awesome name for your hammock. Can't wait to see it (hopefully). :-)

I may just be up north then - if so, I'll definitely try to make it. Looks like an awesome spot.

Depending on time and wants there could be a trip up Mt Solitary. Its a bit of a scramble with some steep parts but its great fun and good views. Great to see numbers getting up there! It will be a great trip!

I really want to join in, but mate, that's my 18th anniversary SWMBO won't be happy if I disappear into the woods.

Maybe next one. I could use some of your expertise, being a new hanger.

Ok...rules for the great combo cook off for those who are interested.. ;-). I'm making these up as I go along so feel free to question/amend/ignore...

The cook-off is comprised of 2 challenges, described below:

    1. The Moist Muffin Mashup

The aim is simple - bake a muffin on the fire or on a stove. Feel free to accessorise it with custard and other delights. The best muffin will be based on taste, appearance and creativity.

    2. Dare To Dabble

This is all about bringing something edible that doesn't sound or look too appealing and challenging someone else to eat it. Or maybe we all get to try it. The only rule is that it must be edible and not likely to cause any illness!! Apart from that, the worlds your oyster. .. Or your sweetbreads, lambs brains...

Sounds good... I'm in fear of your special food purchase already

My food purchase is relatively tame. In fact, it's quite tempting. Not in the same category as lambs brain or anything. It's tinned and from a Chinese supermarket.
