    Mini-gear stash.

Sitting watching the USC v Florida game . . . GO COCKS! and figured I would go through some of my scrap fabric. Ran up on some noseeum and made this little baby.

Made to hang from ridgeline. I installed the draw cord to where it would be on the inside so that it doesn't hang out when folded in, although the photos don't show this well. Used a little piece of tripease.

It was a fun little project, perfect for wallet, glasses, phone . . .

    Awesome! I really like it.

Now if you could make something that suspended the iphone in place on the ridgeline, you'd certainly get some of my sweeeet mooola!

As for the iphone, send me one and I will whip something up lol.I actually think it would be simple to do with just grosgrain.

    Isn't DIY fun?

Nicely done! It's a great feeling making something useful out of scraps.
The ditty bag looks really good. Thanks for the inspiration!

It's funny, I have been messing around with different sizes and such for gear stashes but this one is by far my favorite. I just sat down at the machine with the small piece of scrap and designed on the fly.

I read in a thread here that people roll hem the noseeum, I had problems with this, the feed feet were damaging the fabric.

I know this is a ghetto fix but I had some marker layout paper from college still hanging around, why do we keep things for 10 years lol. I cut a strip of it and laid it down under the fabric. This was the easiest sewing I have done yet because of the paper. I will not work with noseeum again without the paper. It fed great and made it very easy to see what I was doing, and then it tore right off. I may try this with some silnylon I will be working with soon, might prevent the bunching of the slick fabric.
