Thanks everybody. Missing you guys has made me start looking again at different hammocks. I can hang all day long in total comfort. Maybe with some more looking I can find something I can also fall asleep in. With Christmas right around the corner, I'll probably be feeding my habit with more, and more hammocking gear. Yeah for capitolism!!!!!

Truth of the matter is that I sleep better at home in my bed than I do in a hammock out camping. A statement that might get me kicked out of here! But then I sleep a lot better in that hammock than on the ground... (maybe I get to stay now...)

but shoot, this is a fine place to post your gear reviews, no matter where you sleep on the trail. Ah, so long as they aren't tent reviews, that might push the mods over the edge.
i'm the same way Grizz.... i sleep great in my bed at home but i can't sleep on the ground and the hammock is not my bed

don't matter where you sleep.... as long as you get out there and enjoy yourself
It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold

Thanks for the video. I enjoyed riding along.

At first I could only sleep in a bridge. I had to train myself to sleep in a gathered end hammock. Even now, I still wake up every few hours tossing and turning. I knew I could never give up once I realize the benefits of hammocking. I am glad that you are sill here. Like others have said, you still use a hammock, your still belong here!

Thanks for all the support on the hammock problems I've been having. I've borrowed a Hennessy Explorer and have been trying it out. I like it more than my ENO. It is stiffer, and doesn't "evelope" me as much as the ENO did, so it's easier to move around. I'm going to sleep in it tonight at the fire house and see how it feels.

Arson, you may consider becoming a donating member. This is the only forum I donate to and it's only due to the "extra" topics. I didn't donate for the first year or two but thought I would try it this year because most of the "hammock talk" was the same ol' common problems/questions that come up and I was getting board with it. Your trip reports dont get deleted but moved into the donating section so we still enjoy them and talk about them...just not with you. For ten bucks I really enjoy all the extra topics. Anyway, something to consider.
