First post here....HI all.
Just finished ordering my very first Hammock. Opted to go with a Hennessy mostly do to it coming as a complete unit, there by eliminating my OCD going into overdrive about tarps until after I am more familiar with hammocking. As well as the christmas sale, (have kids).
That said I have been reading alot here on this forrum, so did upgrade to the 72' straps, and upgraded to the 70D Hex fly. As a last thought I decided to order the bubble pad insulation from them as well, hope it wasn't/isn't wasted money.
Just wanted to ask/comment, my receipt says nothing about the Holiday "Freeby" does anyone know if it should?
Or is the sale over and there website is not updated? It was still advertised when I ordered.
Call Hennessy and ask them directly. They're usually pretty good about customer service...wouldn't hurt to ask, especially since it was still listed on the website when you ordered.
Fired off an email. Got a response within 10 minutes. Good to go. He is sending two scouts and switched it from two orders to one and refunded shipping for the extra order.
I made two seperate orders to be sure we got two kids hammocks.
Have already recieved an email that order is shipped, fast!
