Already got myself a Christmas present from the Jacks!

I could not resist it, I've wanted ( not needed ) a JRB MW3 convertible in 900 FP, for $255, CLOSEOUT! Whoohoo! Wifey does not know I pulled the trigger on that one yet!

Coincidentally, I had just today been hanging in my JRB bridge with the MW4 suspended from it. Way to0 hot for that, but I needed to check something. Anyway, I was just reminded what a wonderful, fool proof, adjustment free combo that was, but also that it is over kill in warmth and weight for the majority of trips, and thinking how nice an MW3 would be. Then sat down tonight and saw not only a real good sale, but CLOSEOUT! Which I guess means they are going away. So I jumped on it.

Now I need for it to be a Christmas present from some one, but how am I going to resist using it between now and then?

I may end of having to sell some insulation, I just am accumulating too much! If you don't believe me, just ask my wife!

One of these days I'm going to have to try a bridge. They look pretty fool proof with the JRB UQ's.
I don't know why you'd want to get rid of any insulation. The room that I hang my down in probably has an R 100+ on that one outside wall.

Is this Christmas or a mid-life crisis thing?

    Enjoy the new downy comfort!

    BB58,

You'll want to hang on to the Convertible as they are headed the way of the collector's item...Only two left and the clearance will be accomplished.

    And there was one.

Make that one more. I just picked one up. Mind me asking the reason for the discontinuation?

No issues with the convertible model from a users point of view...Mostly just simplifying the large line of JRB quilts.
