Typically hospitals hook you up to an IV when you are in a coma so that the food issue is not really a problem. The falling 80 feet without dieing is the part that gets me. Perhaps he meant to write 25 to 30 feet rather than meters.

Why would you do that? Are you looking for trouble?

WTF, why would you want to kill, skin and eat animals for six months? Are you ok, mentally?
I could see if you had no choice, but for the sheer enjoyment?
I'm guessing he had no choice. He did say that he lost his job.

And he said he had some broken bones. I agree with Ikemouser about killing animals though. That's not cool.

Or you could read the first post where he said he had broken bones and was in a coma for 2 months not in the woods with no food for 2 months..........

The height is high, but he also didn't say what he fell on, snow, sand, etc. Maybe he played plinko on the tree limbs on the way down?

hehe....that's what I figured. Or that he meant feet not meters.

Never any call for rudeness, IMO.

If it's true, it's an amazing story of survival - and in a survival situation, faced with no home, no job, and few prospects, I might kill, skin and eat animals as well. I'd rather be self sufficient then take handouts, personally.

If the story is not true, it hurts me nothing to give the poster my well-wishes anyway.

So, OP, I am glad you survived. Best wishes to all.

There is nothing wrong with accepting help when you need it, everyone needs it at some point in their lifespan, especially if you have been a productive member of society up to that point.
