Just picked up a chinook tarp...

I needed something ASAP for a trip this weekend, so I snagged a Chinook 9.5x12 for my grizz bridge.

I'll snap some pics and post em up both of the tarp packed up and set up.

My testing with Tyvek did not give me warm fuzzies about its capabilities. It is MOSTLY waterproof, but does allow slow leaks. Also, based on other reviews it is prone to tearing along edges (tape edges and such).

Anyway, I hope this tarp works. If not, it'll be on the For sale board come Monday. LOL!

So what were your thoughts on this tarp? Im thinking of getting one.

Its not bad. If you get one you will need some grip clips or other tie outs because the tie ours on it are offset and don't match on each side. Other than that for the money its decent. I had it in 30 knot winds and it did okay. Wind shifted at 3 am and came in head end of tarp. I did my best to fold in the ends to make doors. Again, for the price its okay.
