+1 to their speed. I ordered some stuff from them on Dec 22nd, and didn't expect it until after Christmas. It showed up on Christmas Eve! They rock!
I second, er...third, this praise. I had a fighting match with Paypal and lost the first round, so I wanted to make sure my order wasn't doubled up. I sent an email and fully expected to wait a day or two for a response based on experiences with small vendors in other industries. Needless to say, I was very, very pleasantly surprised when I got a response in under 15 minutes saying it was no problem and apologizing for the hassle (note that it was my incompetence that caused this issue).
Obviously this doesn't mean I would hold anyone to a 15 minute response time in the future, but it I think my experience speaks volumes about a cottage vendor when they handle requests and emails as they come in and will respond right away if they are able.

I heard they don't sleep over there at Whoopie Slings. I placed an order one evening and got a "shipped" update at something like 1:30 AM that night.
