Hey All,
Been awhile since I've been around here, I know. I will try to pop in more often.
Anywho, I have been using a nice Brazilian hammock as my bed for a few months now, and the cheap old rope that I had spanning the distance between the ceiling and the hammock decided to break on me. While I was in it of course
So now I'm trying to figure out what kind of rope/cord I should get to avoid that in the future.
I know that amsteel has a lot of great uses, and I would like to pick some up eventually for my camping adventures, but that seems like it might be overkill for an indoor setup. Weight doesn't really matter, I'm more interested in longer term durability.
I'm hoping there there is some kind of rope I can pick up fairly cheaply at my local hardware store or REI or even off of Amazon, I'm just not sure what to look for. I don't want to buy something that is cheap and will end up breaking on me.
Any help would be appreciated. I'm fortunately going to be away from my place for the next few days, and I have an air mattress I could use for awhile but I'll want to have my real bed back soon enough
Peace,
-Daniel
