    Exclamation ViDEO: Shug's Hammock Pack Load for a 21º Trip...PART 1

So....OK....I have had some recent requests to show my current pack load for some of my recent trips in the 21º and slightly warmer temperatures in the piney woods.
I am of the opinion that on every trip my pack changes a bit....a few more clothing and insulation in the late Fall when the temps get down to the mid 20ºs.
This is just an example of the load I like to tote....yours may vary. Before going to hammocks I spent a lot of time under tarps in ultra-lightweight mode and then to tarp tents. Loved it but the hammock over-took me))))
This load is right at 17 pounds WITHOUT water, fuel and my two days of food.
A bit of Kelsey, Timmy and I picking a tune as we rehearse for a show at my wife's studio.
    Carry on.

Thanks for the video, I really enjoyed the music at the end, I usually listen to stuff like Slayer, but I was really entranced by what you guys were playing, so thanks for turning me onto something different.

Nice job on Jerusalem Ridge! A little slower than I'm used to, but it's so melodic that it's a great song at any tempo

Thanks....we are fitting it to a contortion number...that is why we seem to staring so hard at something. Looking at a video of the girls doing the act so we have to slow it down. Yeah...I like that speed though....hope ol' Bill Monroe would)))
