    Possible rain tarp..need advice.

I'm going out this weekend with potential for lots of rain...I just have a stock HH rain fly...I was wondering if using the rain fly from my Eureka timberline 2 as a tarp would work. I could tie the top loops with shock cords to the trees to prevent sag and hook the front shock cords to the prusics of the hammock.

    any thoughts?

I say try it at home and see if it works. Sounds like you have everything to do so.

Let us know how it went!
