    Hey man,

Have you considered putting the water bottle in a side pocket. I do the same thing you do (sort of...not gonna thread rob) but I just place the water bottle in a side pocket, so it is out of the way.

Then again I am somewhat anal and can't stuff on my shoulder straps, or in my face, out of place, or looking out of place. Just seeing that thing in your face in the vid was enough to drive me nuts, so I can't imagine what it was doing to you.

Looking forward to seeing part duex.
I miss my 4.8Lb base weight as a ground dweller...But I sure DON'T MISS the ground.

ya super annoying. I think I can make it lower. That would require me to actually get off my butt and do something about it. Probably will mess with it this weekend.

HaHa, Nice Vid. I think I'd loose my mind if I were in a cubical for seven weeks. Thanks for sharing your trail time. Makes me look forward to getting out into the woods.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

Entertaining as always. I hope things got better for you after the tarp incident, and that Gear Slug made it out okay.

I hear ya on the road walking; having rode on most of the ones local to me, I sure wouldn't want to have to walk along 'em.

Maybe the blowdowns were more common across the trail due to increased snowmelt along there? The snow melts 'cause the trail gets more sun than the forest on either side and the mud undermines the trees, which then fall when the wind hits 'em? Maybe?

Anyway, glad to hear you made it back okay.

Dude how did you get Horshak from Welcome Back Cotter in your video. Great fun man. Love your videos. I had to turn away slightly when you where jumping around with a kilt on.
Oh and super awkward, man with kilt on says Smokeater 908 is a teddy bear.

Great Vid, Monkey. Maybe the reason that no one would stop and give you a ride was that you weren't showing enough knee. . .

Actually, just gave myself a terrible mental image and must go recover. . .

    Can't wait for part 2!

I would have been scared if someone would have stopped for a guy in a kilt.
