I hear ya on the road walking; having rode on most of the ones local to me, I sure wouldn't want to have to walk along 'em.

Maybe the blowdowns were more common across the trail due to increased snowmelt along there? The snow melts 'cause the trail gets more sun than the forest on either side and the mud undermines the trees, which then fall when the wind hits 'em? Maybe?

Anyway, glad to hear you made it back okay.

Things got better. Dunno about the blow downs. Dont know how much was from Irene and what was from the snow storm.

Dude how did you get Horshak from Welcome Back Cotter in your video. Great fun man. Love your videos. I had to turn away slightly when you where jumping around with a kilt on.
Oh and super awkward, man with kilt on says Smokeater 908 is a teddy bear.

Trust me the awkward moments get worse.

It was good to be back on the trail. Work didnt seem so terrible when I came back.. plus the Giants beat New England as I walked in the door. Elite Quarterback.
