Looks like I'll be able to come out for the afternoon. Was out last weekend so probably won't be staying the night but it will be good to meet the Ontario crew.

I always bring all my gear on "visits" just in case
Here are the permit and parking details…
Site #17 is reserved under Gallagher, Permit#707022000
As previously mentioned, only two cars will fit on the site but we can park in the lower parking lot overnight with the permit displayed in the windshield. If you are staying the night, let them know on your way in.
The permit notes/rules….No Alcohol, No outside firewood. The gatehouse closes (no staff on site) at 5:30pm for the night so we need to grab firewood before that time, I will get 2 bags on the way in. Anyone coming in later than 5:30 will need to call my cell so I can come up and open the gate, PM me if you need my #.
Hey all,
I'm going to bring a VW camper and I was hoping you guys wouldn't mind me "reserving" one of the campsite parking spaces (closest to the fire pit would be ideal) so I can pop the roof in style. We can store food/gear in there if we go out wandering.
I wouldn't pay any mind to the forecast for rain Saturday night with a low of 8 degrees. As I said, there's absolutely no chance of gale force winds or hail. As a matter of fact, I've gone out and bought some new sunblock and flip-flops. Yup, that should clinch it...
Cheers

A VW Camper Dude... I have no objections since I was planning on unloading gear and moving the car to the lower parking anyway. If you can store food (VW Bear Bag hahaha) thats even better. If no one is on Site 18 we can probably park on the turn-around, only sites 17 and 18 are on the last stretch of road.

Likewise, Bubba. See everyone tomorrow morning.
Odd_Duck just give Ryvr the chore list that includes packing all gear/food and load it in your vehicle, dropping the youngin's at Grandma and Grandpa's house. That when when you get home, all you have to do is change and hop in the car. You might want to consider knocking out Ryvr so he won't keep you up all night.
Cheers

P.S. The weather forecast for Sunday has improved... at this moment is calling for a 30% chance of sun. I am awaiting the freak arctic cold front to pass through southern Ontario to make snow instead.
Cheers

GREAT! At the last minute I have to back out. Turns out there is some URGENT school work that needs to be done and it is a group project so I can't even pretend like I'll do it out in the woods!
My apologies and this is an absolute bummer. It's bad enough I can't get out ... but now I have to spend it doing school work
