My hammock is strictly a single person model. If the need arises, I could accommodate a couple of ground dwellers in the "Canvas Condo". So it might be worthwhile for anyone with CCF pads or thermarests to bring them along for backup purposes.

    Hey Kasuko

Good to see you are planning on coming out to this hang. Be sure to pack a CCF pad of some sort for your legs with your Yeti. Remember this is car camping, so you can pack extra insulation options and not have to worry about it. So perhaps an extra blanket to help on the top insulation side.

    Cheers

What, no spooning ... Just kidding my friend, we all live by the golden rule...If you get into a hammock with somebody, you better be married or date'n them.

Ground dwellers....Foam we'll be setting records if it gets that cold.

    I'm there!

Count me in. My new whoopie slings need use.

[o]TTeR still have that -30 bag handy?

How low might it go? On Nov. 22 1987 it sunk to -15.5....

I was toasty down to zero last time, but for sure this time I'll be car camping.
Packing a parka, thermals, balaclava... and maybe I'll snag some down booties from MEC too.

Will be working on another Underquilt this week so I might, might being the operative word, have an extra underquilt. I will also try to remember to bring my Chrysalis along although anyone who uses it will need to bring their own suspension.

I know its not much of an offer.

As for how low the temp will get I doubt we will be setting any records given what the weather has been like lately. Even if it was to get cold I think we would be lucky to see -5 Celsius.

Hey everybody--go back to post #5 in this thread, by Danalex, and look closely at the last picture.

He made Caesars! Now that's camping in style.

Its a Canadian Military double (inner/outer) sleeping bag, together they're rated for -40c, each is -20c on its own, one is spoken for but your welcome to the other.

Yeah, I'm thinking the weather's not too likely to get really cold, but that being said, take advantage of the fact we're car camping to throw a few extra blankets, foam pads and tarps/weathershields in the trunk.

I'd like to attend but am coaching that weekend. If the tournament is only one day I'll come for the Saturday night but I won't know for a week or so.

I believe that this is just a single night hang. Arrive on the 26 and leave on the 27th.

If you can get out, that would be great. It is always fun to meet new people at group hangs. The more the merrier as the saying goes.

    Cheers
