With a successful over-night hang in the yard and arranging supervision for the kids, Mrs[o] is staying the night!

Still up in the air on a nic, we were debating Parker Brothers Clue characters but I was one "Peacock" joke away from... Mrs[o], in the kitchen, with the iron pan!

lol, good job [O]tter. It looks like a dynaglide spinning spider took up residence in your back yard.

I spent my first night with my DIY with assistance 4" box baffle Karo quilt. This puppy is sporting 24 oz of white 900+ PF goose down. Odd Duck and Ryvr got theirs done first though.

I'll leave them to do their own show and tell at the hang.

    See you all there!

    Dan.

4" baffles and 24oz of 900 FP down??? Are you going to the Minnesota Freeze Your Butt Off hang in January? I can't see how you're going to be cold with this much insulation for the upcoming winter hanging season. Looking forward to seeing this creation.

    Cheers

24oz Karo “Flame Sput” UQ & the Wood Furnace HVAC Canvas Condo makes me wonder how we survived our first outdoor hang Valens three years ago this weekend, November 21st 2009 to be exact. It went to 0c that night and this was my setup!

That’s a $16 Walmart Junior Ozark sleeping bag for an UQ rated for +10c. Except for a lurking raccoon, I remember being comfortable that night and I've not slept on the ground since!

I love Secret Agent Laser Obstacle Chess!

We should play Dark of Night Secret Agent Laser Obstacle Hammock Entry at the hang! That would be awesome, and we could hang everyone's rig in the way. Then the guy at the front of the line has to take down his rig, make it through the guylines, setup his rig, and get in. Then repeat with the new head of the line.

    too much?

    Lol.

Odd_Duck, you've just jinxed all of us by saying that. I would now expect that we are going to get 15cm of the fluffy white stuff and the overnight low will be -6C.

    Cheers
