Same boat here. I'm all in and I think I could hodge-podge a set up together

I have almost zero faith in any winter setup I attempt, but if Food as those delicious tamales I will do my best to be there!

    car camping

I favor car camping so that you can go to the car to get warm if your kit fails.

    I am available November 19-20, 25-27, & December 17-18.

    Tamales ARE on the menu.

Since it seems a lot of people will be busy Thanksgiving weekend - how about we say the weekend of December 17-18, at Burning Bear Campground, since we know it works well for a group hang. Being about a month out, that gives people time to plan for it as well.

    Sound good?

Hrm...Depending on the kids' schedules when I get back (Joker just made a competitive basketball team but I don't think games will have started yet), there's a slim chance I can make Burning Bear on 17-18 Dec with the family. Assuming the family wants to go.

I think the campground was technically closed last year but they let us go anyway.

I'll try not to plow a tunnel under the snow with my Jeep this year...
