I've done some basic DIY projects in the last year, including building my own bridge hammock. I'm looking to do my own down TQ and UQ now, and I've got a couple of questions, mostly to do with baffle design.

I plan on using at least 700fp down, and I'm wondering if long, tubular baffles will work, or if the down will tend to shift and leave cold spots? I was planning on breaking each baffle into a few shorter compartments to prevent it from shifting too radically, but that adds a lot of complexity to the sewing. If the baffles are nice and skinny and well stuffed, how likely is the down to go wandering?

Thanks!
