    Holiday Sale is Back

Hennessy's annual holiday sale looks like it started today. I can't figure out what this new cub hammock is, but I'm guessing its for kids?

Designed "especially for kids under 5'7" (173 cm) and 120 lbs. (58 kg.)."

Could be used as a gear hammock maybe? Afraid my 12-year old is a little too "heavy" to fit in that thing.

Was just checking this sale out today too with questions as well..

Is the "Cub" just a slightly smaller replica off the others? ie: attached bugnet?

my dog doesn't like mosquitoes lol

If you click on holiday sale there is more info about the Cub:

    http://hennessyhammock.com/articles/..._special_2011/

The Cub Zip is a new product designed especially for kids under 5'7" (173 cm) and 120 lbs. (58 kg.).
Not available on our website or in stores - this could someday become a collector's item!
Color: Worldwide, the hammock body is grey-brown with a hunter green rainfly. In the US, there is also a choice of woodland camo, dark green or kelly green rainfly. US customers - please indicate your fly color choice in the Comments Section of the order form. First come, first served on rainfly color!
NOTE: ONE FREE CUB ZIP HOLIDAY SPECIAL PER ORDER PLEASE SO THAT EVERYONE CAN PARTICIPATE

Actually it does sound great for a dog, but it would take a much smarter dog than mine to stay in a hammock with a zipped-up bugnet. Mine's a little beagle and he will sleep with me in my hammock, but I imagine he would shred the hammock if I tried to zip him up by himself!

Thanks that deal is really tempting..

Yea my girl is a spoiled rotten mutt who might lift her head up if I was getting mauled by a bear.. But only because she has never seen one before

H.H. Cub is for someone under 67 inches and 105 pounds, I was told. I am thinking of getting one for my dog, she is too heavy to fit in my Explorer.

Just ordered up an Expedition Zip. The receipt they sent lists the Expedition and a Scout, plus Skins for both hammocks. I've seen others mention they were being sent Scouts instead of Cubs. We'll see when it arrives.

I ordered an Expedition A-sym B/E for my son yesterday. The packing slip shows that they are sending a Scout Zip instead of a Cub Zip. I hope that this is the case as my daughters will fit better in a Scout.
I had posted a request for pictures, but no one seems to have any pictures of a Cub Zip or a Scout.
We are already talking and planning for some choice stealthing when the weather warms up. We will soon have enough hammocks for all 5 family members.

    Cabin fever is killing me.
