    homemade 'omni-heat?'

while scoping out the local JoAnn's, i came across an interesting fabric. Its a poly, black, thin, light, and it has these small circular disks 'silk screaned' on it resembling the new columbia omniheat stuff. Now, i'm not sure the science behind the columbia claims... As far as how well they're stuff works, but i'veread a lot about reflecting radiant heat here on the forums and thought i'd bring it up.
I'm thinking this stuff would make a good top cover, or hammock sock. At $9.99 a yard though, i'm just not sure it would be worth the cost. Esspecially when insultex is only $7 a yard.
what cha think? hopfully my pics'll upload.
Not lookin like they will off my phone. I'll git em up when i fire up my laptop
