Thanks for all the feedback from Hammaka

Thanks for all your feedback on my "quest for the perfect hammock". I really appreciate all the good and bad feeback... some of which was very humbling. I plan on getting back to all of your questions. I'm on the road right now with limited access to e-mail and internet. (I'm at the national hardware show in Las Vegas) Look for my answers in about a week.
    Thanks,
    Adam

If you need someone to test out one of these babies, let me know. I'd be all to happy to lend a hand. You know, in the name of hammock advancement and all.

That has to be the most impressive looking hammock stand I have ever seen. I also would be happy to test one of those out for you.

If you flip it over, would you have a rocking hammock stand? (Maybe accompanied with some major sea-sickness)

Never mind, upon further review it would take some modifications for allowing the rocking.

    Hey Adam,

What's the distance between the 2 cross pieces? I assume that where the hammock secures to the stand.

I would certainly be a good test subject...6' 5" and 255 lbs. All in the name of science of course!
Gentle raindrops and mighty oceans...neither can exist without the other.
Time heals all wounds...but it usually leaves a pretty big scar.
