Thanks for all your feedback on my "quest for the perfect hammock". I really appreciate all the good and bad feeback... some of which was very humbling. I plan on getting back to all of your questions. I'm on the road right now with limited access to e-mail and internet. If you flip it over, would you have a rocking hammock stand? (Maybe accompanied with some major sea-sickness)

What's the distance between the 2 cross pieces? I assume that where the hammock secures to the stand.

I would certainly be a good test subject...6' 5" and 255 lbs. All in the name of science of course!
