A few years ago I decided to make my own fly rod. I bought the materials and got started but things came along and I never finished it. I've decided that I'm no longer interested in completing this project so I'm putting it all up for sale. Here's what I've got.

The rod is a St. Croix SVIV graphite blank - 8'6" 4 piece 4 wt. This is the same blank the St. Croix Legend Ultra is made from.

I've put a Struble Deluxe G uplocking reel seat with nice wood (not sure of the species) on it with one cork ring and I've attached the tip top. Otherwise it's unfinished.

Also included:

13 cork rings
Black hookkeep
Flex Coat thermal plastic adhesive
Flex Coat epoxy brush cleaner
Flex Coat finish
Flex Coat epoxy glue
Flex Coat color coded syringes - set of 2
Flex Coat guide foot adhesive
Flex Coat color preserver
Pacific Bay Black hialoy N-guide
Pacific Bay Chrome hialoy N-Guide
Pacific Bay Hard chrome fly tip top
Pacific Bay snake guides
2 Calvin rod wrappers
4 spools of Gudebrod nylon rodwinding thread - 2 gold and 2 green
Tip sizer
Burnishing tool
Awl
Snippers

I'm asking $200 shipped. I will accept Paypal. To buy all of this separately is well over this amount. Also, if you're interested I have a copy of the book "Handcrafting a Graphite Fly Rod" by L.A. Garcia which takes you step-by-step through the building process. It's $12.44 new at Amazon. I'll throw it in for free with the kit.

Have a look at the pics.
