If you are near an M.E.C. (Mountain Equipment Co-op) try there. The nearest one to me is in Halifax, Nova Scotia and the last time I was there I picked up four for my tarp.
been using the ones from the HF store for years and never had a problem plus less cost. They are pretty much the exact same ones a DIY gear supply so go with the best cost
another vote for the groundhogs
groundhog or diy gear supply (Y stakes) the ground hogs are 16grams the diy y stakes are14grams but pretty much the same
I use plain old aluminum gutter spikes. 12 grams
Love many, trust few & always paddle your own canoe. American Proverb
Love the groundhogs. Works great here in Texas
I use the gutter spikes,,you can stick them in wet, black loamy soil and they hold very nice,,same for sandy soil,,not much weight loss either,,,and they have held in 50 plus winds on my 2 large tarps,,OMW by WL,,and 10' x 12' OES,,works perfect for me. For snow,,wood pieces,,rocks,,what ever works perfect in surroundings that is natural with weight on it, hard to get a stake out of frozen ground if you know what I mean.
