If you can make it to our gathering of hangers and hikers, you can try several hammocks, and talk to lots of NC hangers. We'll hang a cozy hammock in a PeaPod for you so you can return the next day if you like!

Welcome to HF from another NC noob in Charlotte. I just finished a DIY GE hammock, tree straps, and whoopie slings. All I need now is some insulation!
