I'm not able to post until I get my new UQ in unless I can use the Ridgerest I used prior to an UQ. But that may be an unfair time advantage. I suppose I could do both for a reference, one now with the pad and one later with the UQ.
Here is the first attempt:
Here is our submission. My sons put up very respectable times, I was slow because It was a new quilt and I was trying to hook it on triangle things, and because the wind was from the east, and because.... I guess I was just slow.

Your boys took you down! Nice job!
One thing that has been fun to see out of all this is how everyone streamlines their gear or the idiosyncrasies that are consistent between hangers. For example, I noticed a few hangers (myself included) hang their straps around their neck before attaching them. I am not alone!

Thanks. I will not only be doing these challenges but probably starting next week, I'll be doing some basic outdoor how to videos. Several of my friends have asked about the ins and outs of my kit, and how I plan for trips. I figure this may be a good way to help inform others.
cool beans, I am going to try this on the week end
This was supposed to be a fair weather challenge, but since it was drizzling, the setup was quicker than usual:
