    UQ protector question

Here is another question about a poncho liner. How warm or temperature rating would a 2Q 2Z UQ protector, breathable, and a poncho liner sewn together as an under quilt?

I live in Texas and the night can get down into the high to mid 30. I am trying to stay light on a budget.
    Thanks
    Dan

i wouldn't think it would go much past 45*. Throw a layer or two of reflectix or ccf pad in with ya and that should get you there. light and cheap.

i would suggest that you keep the two (poncho liner / UQP) separate.
the UQP suspension it perfectly designed to support UQP itself, but the addition of a PL may require an upgrade of the UQP shock cord.
IMHO an independent suspension for the PL would provide more versatility and allow for a better fit.
