Learned how to knit last night. I'm taking orders on scarves. Delivery is scheduled for 2014.

    LOL...too funny man!

I have to admit...my wife taught me how to knit and crochet both a couple of years ago.

    Darned useful skill, IMHO.

Very cool that you've learned a new skill!

I've knit a number of scarves and such that are darned useful. My wife is an awesome knitter/crocheter, but she's allergic to wool, so if I want anything done in that material...it's up to me. LOL!

Knitting is like sewing, the more you know the more you learn there is to know. You just started to learn if you did it all last night. ;-)

My ex is a superb knitter. I once tried it for about 5 minutes and then spent the next half hour untangling myself from my mess. That was the extent of my knitting career

My Mom and Grandma both have mad knitting/crochet skillz. Growing up we always had fresh hats and mittens every year. Lots of sweaters and blankets too, even the dogs got new custom fitted sweaters every year.
    Good luck,

Learned to crochet as a kid but knitting just looks so much more complicated. I'm staying away from those long wood needles for now. Can't afford another distraction.

Knotty! Now it's my turn. You must drink from the knitting water. It's not as hard as you think, and it's really just a pattern of knot after knot.

If only you like tying knots..........
