    new here checking it out:)

    Welp I am up here on the North coast of oHIo been camping since i was pretty young. This is an interesting way of camping to me. Although I can see me forgetting that I am hanging first thing in the morning and taking my first tumble right out of bed. Have a nice day,SMILE,and be careful to all Have a Happy Thanksgiving

    Welcome to comfort! One benefit from a properly hung gathered-end hammock is that it is difficult to fall out since the center of gravity is low and the side walls are high. There's lots of great tips and techniques you can learn from the good folks at HF.

    Welcome I'm new here as well if I can offer a lil help read the ultimate hang it will help ur learning curve there is so much info on HF it's amazing ( but can be overwhelming) dehojas book actually lays it out step by step I wish I had read it before I purchased and hung I would have not made a few of the painful mistakes overexcited noobs make. Its wonderfully written and illustrated as well as easy to understand. Welcome to world of hangers anonymous

    I too was a ground dweller from many a year, but found the luxury of Hammock camping! I find that this forum is without a doubt the ultimate place to find information, get tips, and of course hang out for all that is the wonderful world of Hammock camping.
