Hello there....you may have it strung to tightly. Loosen it up a wee bit and slide the straps up the tree/post some.
    Hope it works out.

I'd agree with Shug (who wouldn't ). Try dehoja's hammock hang calculator out. I found with my HH that I needed to move the tree huggers quite a bit higher than I first thought, in order to be comfortable. It worked for me!

I mangaged to get the hammock out today to test Shug's and bindibadgi's advice on the pretence that I was worried it was a faultly hammock (a white lie never hurt anyone, just gets me a go in my xmas present early ). Thankyou, you are both Hammock Gods as far as I'm concerned. I downloaded an android app that shows how many degrees off vertical anything is, so I put my phone on the hammock lines and adjusted until it was exactly 30 degrees... omg it's got to be loose. I had the tree huggers up as far as I could reach (dunno what I'll do if the trees are further apart, maybe I'll buy a dehydrated step ladder). After about 10 minutes of adjustment i finally got in the hammock and the 2 by 4 down the centre has gone...BIG SMILES. But then I kept sliding into the footbox and feeling as though I was being pushed out and laying almost on the bug net. I went back to adjusting. after another 20 minutes or so of raising the foot end and lowering the head end I finally got it right with the foot about 8 inches higher than the head and WOW it's comfy. Thanks for your advice.
