Ok as I had said, I have some more information foe everyone.
1. We will have a large parachute shroud over the fire like last year.
2. Like last year the plan is to have a community cook pot again. So if everyone wants to bring something to put in the pot, that would be great. Last year we had some food left over, but we only cooked two nights. This year it sounds like we will be doing this for three. Your still on your own for breakfast and lunch. Although last year I believe there was stew left from the previous nights diner for some lunch.
3. This has only been mentioned in passing but needs to be dealt with. There is a camping fee for our stay of $10 a head for the whole weekend, not per night. This is for a couple reasons, one this is a semi private area, and 2 or the big reason, they are going to have the bathrooms open for us. So that means we have heated bath and showers if anyone wants to use them.
If you can not contribute to this, do not let it stop you from coming, it will be covered. We want everyone to come and have fun.
4. Fourdog has generously consented to do some Mors style teaching if there is enough interest, so post up.
With this long winded post I will wrap up for the night.

I'll for sure bring some grub for everyone to help contribute.
Is that $10 per night or total? I'll make sure I have cash on my person when I get up there to cover my stay.
Some Mors teaching would be a lot of fun and some good footage for video too. Plus, it would be great to learn some new things to use in the woods.
Thanks a bunch.

Well, statistically these dates miss the coldest cold days of winter in WI-MN by all of 1-2 days. Only way colder would be to pack all 4 days into the 19th!! Some may feel that has been accomplished on the morning of the 20th....the shivering seemed never to stop and the sun wouldn't come up.
Don't eat red beets after the 18th.
Lurking on this one, thanks to a "heads up" from a good friend. I sold all my winter underquilts last year, so I hope to have some kind of kludged gear figured out by then. But I should make it, barring my aversion to scheduling anything.
