If the snow is too thin, do we have a backup water source?

I can bring an auger for the lake if needed.

At least it will be just cold enough so things will stay frozen. Highs of 23-25*F, lows of 6-13*F... I get the long range forecast here.

    Fourdog,

I have some small 2 1/2 gal. pails we can use for water transport. They have covers so that they won't spill. Let me know if you would like me to bring them.

I plan on being up there about noon on Thursday and can help set things up as well.

Most anything can go into a pot, but it is best if it is pre cooked. Think stews, or Chille, soups. Or a meat loaf, or anything else that can be cooked on a fire.

Or bring Breads, or other things to round out a meal, or desserts.

Most anything you would eat yourself is welcome

UH-OH, I just thought of this, Some of the folks I run with will eat almost anything, really scared now

Your scared , how about the rest of us. Now not only do we have to worry about what we could see in the sauna, but also what is being brought for the pot. Makes a guy think twice about coming

Who needs winter gear when you can rely on global warming to keep you toasty at night?
