Group hang in Washington State or even just 2 trees

Looking for a place to hang for a few days.

In March, the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle is hosting the 46th Annual Conference of the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts NCECA. I would like to Fly out a few days before the conference and maybe do some hanging or hiking with fellow hammock enthusiasts.

The NCECA event is the 28th-31st of March. The week of the 19th is my last spring break before finally graduating in May and I would love to spend it out camping. Is there anyone up for a group hang during the week of the 19th or weekend of the 24th?

Here is a link to NCECA info for this years conference in Seattle. It is the biggest event in ceramics education and ceramic arts in the country, every gallery and museum will be participating in Seattle and nearby cities. http://nceca.net/static/conference_home.php

I think I may have found a place to set up camp but am really surprised at the lack of posts on here. I am buying tickets on Wednesday to fly out March 24-31st. I'll be able to get a sneak peek at Mt. Rainier which i'll be climbing in September. I anyone has some suggestions for places to visit let me know.

I think the reason you not getting any responses is because everything will still be snowed in, and there are not a lot of winter hangers per se'. That and there may be a scheduling conflict for most...your a starving student who gets to take week days off, were working stiffs who have to work during the week days Not sure about the weekend option though.

If I lived over there I would be down for it...but I am over on the other side of the state, so no dice for me.

    Good luck.

    Cheers

You may have better luck doing a kayak trip if the sound calm enough.

Hey mate, I really don't have any idea about my schedule in that time frame yet. As we get closer I may be about to hang a night or 2 over the weekend with you. Often that time of the year is awfully wet, not that I mind, but be prepared for it.

I'm sure others will chime in as we get closer to the dates.

I wouldn't say that i'm a starving student, I keep a steady supply of oatmeal and roman in the studio I hear that March isn't necessarily the best time of year to visit with the seasonal changes but it is what it is. I gotta take trips when I can make trips. What are the conditions out there anyways?
