    Leftovers from conversion

I am curious about what people do with the left over parts after converting hammocks to Whoopie slings and other suspension systems?

What are some usefull things to do with those heavy beaners that come with the Hammocks that I have traded out for UL climbing ones?

How about the tree straps when you substitute other equipment for those?

The heavy beiners work real well on the hammock stand that you are inevidibly going to built so you dont have to pull your tree straps out. They also work real well as kayak and canoe rigging on the car or garage overhead suspension systems. Cinchbuckles and long straps make great tie-downs for the bow and stern of a canoe or kayak across the roof rack of my EXTERRA!!!!!!!

    Canoe Tie downs etc.

Thanks, those are some good ideas. I will probably start using the beiners on my canoe. And I also need a new tie down system for the canoe so that will be good as well.
