Good stuff Shug. I always wrestle with that dang hood on my sleeping bag, makes me lust after a proper top quilt... maybe someday. Thanks for the tip on the outdoorChatauqua too.

Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.
Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
You do build up a sweat gettin in a bag even at a -10degF. Been there done that. Can you say Chetauqua on line? Did you quit wear'n the derby so's not to offend Tinny? T/Y for info 4 noobs. Main point is to get out there w/what you got . Experiment and make it work. Bcool

i have a BA as well. I just zip into it and snooze away. the best part of it is that the hood has those lovely drawstrings. i can sleep in one layer (down to the mid 30's) with out an UQ. I just had an air pad slightly inflated and slipped into the sleeve. I'm excited to give it a whirl with an incubator and the BA bag. I have a feeling imma be a bit warm.
Great tips and tricks Shug, a timely message for hangers going into the cooler and cold colder weather temperatures .
When cold weather camping, I'll try anything and everything to stay warm and comfortable. For me messing around with my gear gaining experience and finding out what works the best is the key.
Always good to see some new ideas, thanks for sharing you are a true master!
I hike with SCISSORS cause it makes me feel dangerous ... LoL
Thanks again Shug, once again you have cleared the murky waters.

Cheers for the effort, Shug.
I'd like to add, based on my single hang experience, that Exped Dreamwalker sleeping bag works very well with the hammock.

It zips down the center all the way down. You can put your hands out to make adjustments while you lay. Separate hood and neck strap also works well.
For me it took no effort at all to get in or out of it inside the WBBB.
I got the older model, WallCreeper, at a nice discount from here:

I checked with Exped and an independent source about the differences between the old and the new model and they confirmed only the name changed.
